Qantas first Boeing 787 anniversary

The Australian company celebrates the first anniversary of the Dreamliner in its fleet. For the occasion, Qantas has published several pages dedicated to the 787.

"They grew so fast".That's the beginning of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner's commemorative page. Qantas released life-long memories of his first Dreamliner from his assembly in Seattle, USA, when he arrived on Australian soil in Sydney in October 2017.

361 world tours

This is the distance that Qantas' Dreamliner fleet has traveled: more than 14 million kilometers or 361 times around the globe.

Future plans

Satisfied with his experience with the Boeing 787-9, the kangaroo company has announced the order of 6 additional Dreamliner. They will, among other things, enable the retirement of the 747-400 and -400 ER by 2020. The next challenge announced by Qantas is the creation of lines between the east coast of Australia and New York and London by 2022 .
